Postcard - Snake’s head fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) Artist Lena Granefelt
To accompany our Herbarium: Plants in a New Light exhibition, we have produced four postcards featuring images of specimens from the Linnaean herbarium, photographed by artist Lena Granefelt.
Lena photographed each specimen sheet using two flashes positioned behind it to provide backlighting, capturing details not visible to the naked eye.
Produced on gently textured Tintoretto Gesso card stock, these postcards are a lovely reminder of a luminous exhibition.
