Colour spectrum notebook
This notebook features James Sowerby’s A New Elucidation of Colours… (1809), with its carefully arranged colour spectrum based on his theory of three primary colours—yellow, red and blue. The design reflects Sowerby’s pioneering attempt to make colour measurable, reproducible and useful to 19th-century artists and natural-history illustrators.

Provence: Recycled board cover, colour printing using eco-friendly digital toners. Inner pages are printed with vegetable oil-based ink on 90gsm uncoated recycled paper. Made in Britain.
